Ransta is a place in constant motion, marked by significant changes and a fast-paced history. This interactive artwork highlights some of the stories that make Ransta unique. Here, you'll encounter the railway station built in 1874, which attracted numerous entrepreneurs and visionaries to the area. You'll also meet the Holm Brothers and Tropikmöbler, who made Ransta the center of Sweden's wicker furniture industry. The work was created through local workshops and conversations with people in the village. In collaboration with Håkan Lidbo, Sala Kommun, Bokbussen and Sala 400 år.
